GLASS & GOLD – Alex May Hughes Solo Show
Alex May Hughes is a sign painter and glass gilder based in West London. ‘Glass & Gold’ is Alex’s second solo show, set in London’s 71a Gallery.
On display will be previously unseen typographic and illustrative works on glass, using precious metal leaf, pearl shell and traditional sign making techniques, as well as commercial pieces and collaborative works with prop-maker Robert southworth.
